Insurance & Deposit
The customer shall be responsible for the safe-keeping of the equipment throughout the hire period and shall be liable for any loss of or damage to the equipment howsoever caused. Any faults or damage, outside of the initial inventory, must be reported within 2 hours of receiving the equipment. Floating Harbour Studios Ltd. will not be responsible for any defects or deficiencies in the equipment unless notification has been made within the 2 hours. Any damage or defects must be paid for by the customer. Please see Damage and Loss of Equipment section for further terms.
Upon termination of the hire, the customer will return the equipment to Floating Harbour Studios Ltd. in the same repair and condition as at the commencement of the hiring, with the exception of fair wear and tear given. Equipment should be packed so that it is returned as it was sent out. Please ensure you are familiar with packing configuration when using equipment. Failure to do so may result in charges or deposit being withheld.
It is expected that the customer fully understands and has given experience in using the equipment they are hiring.
It is not Floating Harbour Studios Ltd.’ responsibility to offer guidance and training on the equipment before or during the hire period, other than sharing best practise. Damage caused by customer’s negligence will also follow the below conditions.
